Jacob had turned eighteen the same week his father had moved out of the house. His stepmom, Summer, had divorced him after she caught him looking at porn on his computer one too many times. And since Jacob had nowhere else to stay, he chose his stepmom’s place until he could save enough for the first and last month’s rent on an apartment. For the most part, it wasn’t that bad.
