Description:

Will Pembroke's family is one of the richest—and most dangerous to know—in the world, and when threats against his father's enemies turn toward him, there's only one option his parents trust: Big Gal Security's top-tier Queen package.

That means round-the-clock protection from Deborah Dawn herself, the company's stunning founder, who grows to hundreds of feet tall to keep her clients safe.

Will expects a bodyguard. He doesn't expect Deborah to make it clear that his safety isn't the only thing on her mind for the next five years, or that being hidden away at her private, giant-scaled estate might come with benefits no contract could spell out.

As Deborah's size and confidence grow, so does the tension between protector and client-and Will starts to wonder if the real danger was ever the enemies at all.

Excerpt:

She approached the massive desk, the top over her head. Like the doorknob, she reached up and placed Will on the surface. It was like standing on a wooden football field. The items on the desk were likewise scaled up—a cup of pens, a legal pad, even a laptop bigger than his house.

“Let’s get adjusted, shall we?” said Deborah, walking off to the corner where a large platform sat. She stepped up on it while tapping away on her cellphone.

Above her, a giant motor spun into place, positioning a long, cylindrical barrel just over her head. Once she finished tapping away on the phone, she placed it in her pocket. Then, a green beam left the barrel and slapped her in the head. She scratched, as if the beam had tickled her scalp.

And then, Deborah began to grow.

It was sudden, taking only a few seconds for her to nearly double in size. When she stepped off the platform, the entire room shook. Will dropped to his knees, fearful that he’d roll right off the edge of the desk. Now, the giantess looked as if she belonged in this room, as she was scaled to match everything in it.

“Now, where were we?” she said, and slipped behind the desk. She sat down on a giant chair that made a pneumatic hiss. A piece of furniture that large must have been packed with all sorts of technology to keep from collapsing.

“Oh my God, you’re huge!” said Will, feeling ashamed at once for his outburst.

Deborah just chuckled, her face appearing even more beautiful now that it was magnified in such a way.

She held out her hands and appraised her arms as if it was no different than putting on a different jacket. “You like it? I’m three hundred and forty feet tall. Not too shabby, huh?”

“That’s the biggest number,” he said, feeling silly for phrasing it in such a ridiculous way. In truth, he was flabbergasted to be in the presence of someone so enormous, when this morning he didn’t even know giantesses existed.

“It’s big, but not the biggest. I’m about to start construction on my five-hundred-foot scale office.”
