Description:

Alice Edwards already drank the formula. Now the city is watching a girl in Mary Janes walk taller than the buildings, and Vivian Hart is not about to let the lab lose its only masterpiece.

She slips into Alice’s apartment, finds the leftover vials, and puts on the other costume—crimson instead of blue, hearts on the apron, patent-leather shoes.

Across town, Alice is already brushing the weather tower of a hundred-foot bank. Two Alices. One crowded Wonderland.

(Drink Me sequel, growth serum, Alice costume, progressive giantess, city-scale size)

Excerpt:

Vivian was a petite girl, much like Alice, so she found the red costume fit her quite well. She appraised herself in the mirror.

The dress kept the classic shape—a fitted bodice, puffed short sleeves, and a full skirt that flared just above the knees—but where the traditional dress was a soft storybook blue, this was a deep, rich crimson, almost the color of fresh lacquered roses. Black piping traced the seams, sharpening the silhouette.

Over the dress, a white apron, though this one was embroidered with tiny red hearts along the hem, with black ribbon lacing at the waist. White stockings climbed her legs, held by red garters hidden beneath the skirt. On her feet, Mary Janes, but reimagined in glossy crimson patent leather, the straps adorned with tiny gold heart buckles.

With Vivian’s dark hair, she thought she fit this version of Alice quite well. The character was almost complete. Heart thudding in her chest, she lifted one of the vials from the case, twisted off the top, then drank it down quickly.

She stood in front of the closet mirror, admiring her reflection, and waited for the change . . .

Six miles to the north, Alice Edwards was just getting used to her new size. But then again, could she get used to anything that constantly changed? As she stood near the Prudential Bank Building, she remembered a flyer from her childhood from the building’s history—it stood at a hundred and twelve feet tall from the ground to the weather tower at the top. Currently, Alice’s head was level with the top of the building, meaning she was pushing a hundred feet tall.

As she stood there appreciating her size, she wondered just where and how it would end. The growth had slowed down, at least for now, which was nice since it gave her an opportunity to appreciate her size without feeling that constant pull of her skin against her clothes.

In the distance, police sirens. They were certainly coming for her. The question was what she’d do when they arrived. She had no desire to hurt anyone, but she’d certainly defend herself.

Alice took a step back, her Mary Jane coming down on a car.
