Description:

The Next Stage is a standalone entry in the Ascension Formula series, set after the events of the earlier stories.

Years into the new order, the giantesses who took the formula have already reshaped the world. Now their daughters are being born already on the same growth track—true-born girls who inherit their mothers’ size without ever taking a dose.

In a private council chamber on a high island terrace, the women who run the territories gather to decide what that means for housing, schools, work crews, and the men who will never catch up.

(Ascension Formula series, standalone, world-building, 160-ft giantess, 80-ft giantess, 72-ft giantess, 60-ft giantess, 50-ft giantess, 48-ft giantess, 30-ft giantess, tiny men, Unfavored/Favored, size difference, power imbalance, political, soft domination)

Excerpt:

The council chamber sat on the high terrace of the island, white stone still warm from the afternoon. The table ran the length of a city block. Beyond the open wall the water hit the same rock it had hit yesterday, and the day before that.

Sera, at eighty feet tall, took the head seat and set her tablet down, the glass looking small in her hand. Brienne had the back row because a hundred and sixty feet did not fit a normal chair, even in the new world. The floor still took the weight when she shifted, a thin crack that ran under everyone’s shoes.

Lila sat to Sera’s right at sixty feet. Evan rode the gold harness across her chest, one hand on the strap, bare because that was the rule in the room. He did not look at the other men—he never did.

Marla took the left at fifty, Eli pinned under the outside of her thigh with his legs hanging off the edge of the chair. Carina was thirty feet and already had files open. Chelsea filled the western seat at seventy-two, Brian standing on her binder so he would not slide.

Stephanie held the Gulf chair at forty-eight with a short line of Unfavored on the floor by her boots, waiting for a look they were not going to get unless she wanted one to play with one of them.

Sera looked down the table once. “Territories first. Then the reason you flew in.”

No one stood for a pledge. They did that on Ascension Day only. There was no need for performative acts this late into the new world order.

Lila adjusted the harness with two fingers, the motion making Evan tip an inch and catch himself. “Eastern is quiet,” she said. “Births are up. Eleven girls this quarter came out over twelve feet. Housing is the problem, not the crews. Men still lay pipe and they still bow when I walk the line.”

Evan kept his mouth shut.

Marla tapped two fingers on the stone, the sound carrying. “Midwest is on schedule. I had three men try a walk-off last week.” She settled more of her weight onto Eli as she said it, and he went quiet with a little strangled cough. “I sat on the first one until he remembered his number. The other two finished the job. Paul’s still in the mud by the courthouse pipe . . . and I rather like him there.”
